The First Tee of Greater Sacramento and their affiliates are dedicated to creating and maintaining a fun, safe learning environment where the youth of our community can experience the game of golf while learning and practicing core values and life skills that will help guide them on their journey to young adulthood. We will continue to offer new and innovative opportunities to the youth of the Auburn/ Sacramento area through the First Tee Program and continue to create platforms where children can increase their potential for success. The First Tee experience includes:

• Golf Skills:

Putting, Chipping/Pitching, Bunker Shots, Full Swing, How to play and manage the game: guidance in passing all levels of The First Tee: PLAYer, Par, Birdie, Eagle and Ace levels

• Life Skills:

Interpersonal skills, Self-Management, Goal Setting, Resilience Skills-Peer Pressure
   

• Core Values:

Courtesy, Perseverance, Responsibility, Respect, Honesty, Confidence, Integrity, and Sportsmanship
   

• Golf Course Etiquette:

Safety first, Courtesy on the golf course, Care of the course, Pace of Play
